Romney claims to have a plan to help the auto industry. Yeah, it's called 'Let Detroit go bankrupt.'

Another false claim in Mitt Romney's bogus Jeep ad:
The truth? Mitt Romney has a plan to help the auto industry.
The only problem: Mitt Romney has never released such a plan'at least not since he wrote that op-ed saying "Let Detroit go bankrupt." Unless that's the plan he's talking about, there's nothing on his website about any sort of auto industry plan. Moreover, when Politico reporter Ben White asked the campaign a copy, he didn't get a response.:
I asked for a copy of Romney's "plan to help the auto industry'" per the Jeep ad and received no response. So I assume they made it up.
' @morningmoneyben via Twitter for iPad If they had a plan, they would have given it to him, but it's obvious they don't. They're just making stuff up and throwing it against the wall. The only thing surging about Mitt Romney's campaign is its level of desperation.
