Donald Trump just can't stop himself. And neither can Mitt Romney.

So Donald Trump went on CNN to talk with Wolf Blitzer this afternoon and for 10 full minutes they prattled on about virtually nothing but birther goodness. Well, they also talked about how much Trump loved Mitt Romney ... but another than that, it was birther, birther, birther.

In the interview, Trump claimed that President Obama himself had admitted he was born in Kenya (false), that the governor of Hawaii was a Democrat (false), and that Obama had denied living in Indonesia (false). Trump claimed that high ranking Hawaii officials had doubts about President Obama's birthplace ... but refused to name names. Trump said Obama's newspaper birth announcements were part of a conspiracy to protect his status. And Trump even finally said what his investigators in Hawaii had found. "Plenty," he said, before refusing to elaborate further.

The interview ended with Trump giving a fulsome endorsement of his man Mitt Romney, who called Trump "good people" yesterday. "A lot of people feel very good about Mitt Romney," Trump said. "I think he's going to do a great job."
