While there are no shortage of presidential polls this week, it is absolutely fair to call the next ten days in the 2012 election cycle the most watchable days of the election, with the sole exception of Election Day itself.
The second biggest state in the Union heads to the polls on Tuesday (with several story lines worth watching), and then an already packed election calendar on Tuesday, June 5th is supplemented by the Wisconsin recall elections, which are starting to really draw a lot of eyes in political circles.
Meanwhile, the presidential polling was a real mixed bag this week. Conservatives measuring the drapes after the Quinnipiac poll in Florida on Wednesday had about 24 hours to gloat before an NBC/Marist poll showed the exact opposite result. From the daily trackers to the state polling, it was that kinda week. Taken as an entire package, it doesn't feel as if the state of play this week is much different than it was last week: Barack Obama clearly with an electoral college cushion, but far from a comfortable one.
