Democrats grade Mitt Romney on education

Since Mitt Romney's plan for education if he's elected president is basically a laundry list of conservative buzzwords about education with few details, his education record as governor of Massachusetts is worth a look:

Mitt Romney's record on education as governor of Massachusetts

Remember, this is all stuff he did back when he was branding himself as a moderate and forced to work with a Democratic state legislature. As a 2012 presidential candidate he's embracing Paul Ryan's budget, which would cost a million students their Pell Grants. The reality of what a Romney presidency would be like starts with what he did in Massachusetts, then adds in all the educational failures and corporate profits those conservative buzzwords produce, then adds every punitive cut the likes of Paul Ryan can come up with. It's a genuine nightmare.
