Earlier today Markos noted that Fox News Latino's reaction to President Obama's newly announced immigration policy changes seemed quite positive:
Adorable! And patriotic! Ah, but Media Matters notes that the primary Fox site, Fox Nation, decided to go in a different direction. Feel the terror, true conservative brethren! Booga booga booga!
(Media Matters) I think that's a nice little microcosm of the more general Republican "outreach" efforts. It's all right to tell each group whatever you think they want to hear, but make sure the all-important base gets a steady diet of all fear, all outrage, all the time.
