Richard Mourdock admits he's bankrolled by 'special interest group' conservatives

Assuming Indiana Republican Senate candidate and state Treasurer Richard Mourdock defeats incumbent Sen. Dick Lugar in today's primary, this piece of video should come in handy in the fall for Democratic Senate candidate and current Rep. Joe Donnelly:

To the charge that there's a special interest group that's been supporting us from outside the state, that's true. And the special interest group is called conservatives.
I get what Mourdock is trying to say, and it probably is pretty good spin for a Republican primary. But in the general election, I'm not so sure swing voters want a candidate who brags about being bought and paid for by special interest group conservatives from outside the state.
