2012 GOP convention live, thread #6: Mike Huckabee tests the 2016 waters

Republican National Convention: The race to the bottom Watch live video here and join the conversation as we live blog the 2012 GOP convention.

6:42 PM PT: Mike Huckabee picks up where Tim Pawlenty left off, accusing President Obama of socialism (at least in so many words).

6:43 PM PT: Listening to Huck's and TPAW's one liners, maybe next RNC should be booked at Chuckles or Laff Factory #gop12 #rnc12

6:44 PM PT: Each and every one of these clowns has forgotten who wrecked our economy in the first place.

6:46 PM PT: Huckabee salutes Ann Romney's speech, something that Chris Christie failed to do.

6:47 PM PT: Don't forget: There is not a single persuadable voter watching this speech. The broadcast networks are not covering it'only partisans are tuning in.

6:47 PM PT: Odd to keep complaining about how Barack Obama doesn't have private-sector experience on a night when Paul Ryan is giving the main speech

6:50 PM PT: Huckabee accusing "self-professed evangelical" Barack Obama of attacking Catholics. And then:

I care far less as to where Mitt Romney takes his family to church than I do about where he takes this country.

6:52 PM PT: Huckabee attacks Joe Biden for not giving as much to charity as Mitt Romney. Yeah, real fair comparison'Biden isn't a pauper, but he's one of the least wealthy politicians at his level. Romney, on the other hand, is one of the wealthiest.

6:57 PM PT (Kaili Joy Gray): New thread here.
