Not only does Ryan support saving the same $716 billion as does Obama, the only reason the Medicare savings were possible is that providers agreed to accept lower payments with the passage of Obamacare, which will expand their pool of customers.
7:42 PM PT: Ryan using his tired old line about Medicare: "We want this debate (over Medicare), we need this debate, and we will win this debate." Bullshit. They have been dodging this debate. If they wanted it, they'd have it.
7:44 PM PT: I'll have to rewatch later, but did Paul Ryan just blame the 2008 financial crisis on Obama? And he definitely blamed the debt limit credit rating downgrade on Obama, even though that was part of a deal that Ryan supported.
