5:15 PM PT: Jeb Bush is still speaking'for a recap of his absurd defense of George W. Bush, including his claim that Bush kept America safe, read this. In short: Jeb has forgotten 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan, anthrax, and the financial crisis. What a disaster his brother was'precisely because he did not keep us safe.

5:29 PM PT: Oh God, they are still flogging the "build that" lie. A whole convention, held in a publicly financed facility, built on a lie, twisted into something that makes no sense.

5:32 PM PT: Grant Bennet is speaking! He's a friend of Mitt Romney. See, Mitt Romney has friends! He is not a Robot! Or if he is, he has Robot Friends.

5:33 PM PT: Mr. Bennett is now talking about Romney as a Mormon bishop. Bennett says he was Mitt Romney's assistant when Romney was his pastor.

5:36 PM PT: Only CNN is covering Romney's Bishop friend. Not even Fox is. No offense, but I really don't care to hear about Mitt Romney's private religious activities at a national political convention.
