8:04 PM PT: Chuck Todd thinks Chris Christie topped Ann Romney's speech. Didn't seem like that to me. I thought her speech was much better than Christie's speech, and I think Christie showed no grace or class by failing to recognize her speech.
8:05 PM PT: Christie's speech was about nothing really, except being about himself. Charles Krauthammer is trying to defend it's "subtlety" though he admits it was "a little bit curious" that Christie didn't mention Romney until the end. You know my view'I thought it was a bad speech.
8:07 PM PT: I'm in Columbus, Ohio right now. None of the local news casts are currently reporting on the convention. Two are on the hurricane, and one is on a series of carjackings here in town.
