Presidential campaigns are suspended temporarily following Colorado shooting

Due to the CO shooting, the Obama camp is putting a hold on the TV ads it's airing in the state until Monday, according to ad trackers

' @PhilipRucker via TweetDeck President Obama and Mitt Romney have altered their campaign schedules in wake of the shootings in Colorado, in which a a dozen movie-goers are dead and scores are injured.
Obama canceled an appearance near Orlando, Fla., and was returning to Washington ahead of schedule. He was to speak about the tragedy in Fort Myers, Fla., during an abbreviated appearance. Romney, too, was to address the matter at a previously scheduled campaign event in New Hampshire. He canceled some media interviews.
Additionally, First Lady Michelle Obama has cancelled two campaign stops in Virginia today. In addition to the Obama ads being pulled in Colorado, the campaign is pulling all "contrast" advertising for the "time being." It will take some time for stations to pull the ads out of rotation.

People from both sides of the aisle have expressed their shock and concern for the people in Colorado.

8:12 AM PT: From President Obama's remarks in Florida.

'Even as we learn how this happened and who's responsible, we may never understand what leads anybody to terrorize their fellow human beings like this,' Obama said. 'If there's anything to take away from this tragedy it's the reminder that life is very fragile. Our time here is limited and precious.'
