Obama's decisions lead new national conversation on immigration

  From 4thEstate:
Once again, Barack Obama has altered the conversation surrounding the election by making an executive order on Immigration. Discussion of immigration hovered around 1% in the past month until his announcement, when coverage of the topic spiked by 33%, surpassing discussion of the economy by 9% in the middle of June.
While Mitt Romney grumbles about Obama needing to "lead" on immigration, this would seem to present fairly ironclad evidence that Obama has been "leading" on immigration. Romney, meanwhile, issued a brief, contentless statement and then had his campaign staff tell reporters he wasn't going to be talking about this anymore.
