What Scott Brown has decided is the most important thing to work on is rewriting the Stolen Valor Act'legislation making it illegal for people to falsely represent themselves as military heroes'to overcome the Supreme Court's finding that the law was unconstitutional.
'It is wrong and cowardly for people to make fraudulent statements in order to receive distinctions that they have not earned. We need to ensure that no one can benefit from making false claims and steal the true valor of the deserving few,' Brown said.Hmm ... does repeatedly saying you have "secret meetings with kings and queens and prime ministers" when you really don't'when you're really just a junior senator that no foreign head of state has even heard of'count as making "fraudulent statements in order to receive distinctions" that senator has not earned "wrong and cowardly"?
I guess Brown knows something about puffing up a resume, at least.
