4:46 PM PT (kos): 850 votes cast by 5:58PM in Ripon districts 1 & 2. Compare that to 242 cast in the 5/8/12 primary & 565 cast in '10 guv election. #wirecall

4:48 PM PT (kos): Ripon is a Republican stronghold. In fact, it is the birthplace of the Republican Party.

4:57 PM PT (kos): The pre-election CW is that Milwaukee would decide this -- 2008 turnout, we win, 2010 turnout, we lose. Now given the nutso turnout in red areas, that may or may not hold. But still, it looks like Milwaukee is doing its part:

MIlwaukee running out of same day reg & even ballots at 148, 53rd Street School, Francis Midland. Voters - hang on! Cc: @news3jessica

4:57 PM PT (kos): The district referenced above is a 62-38 Barrett district.

5:06 PM PT (kos): More from Milwaukee:

#wivote #wirecall BREAKING: Over 15 wards in Milwaukee are either close to or out of voter registration forms and ballots!

5:12 PM PT: Polls are now closed in New Jersey. There are two key congressional primaries: NJ-09 (D), between Reps. Steve Rothman and Bill Pascrell, and NJ-10 (D), a multi-way race to succeed the late Rep. Donald Payne. Both are safely Democratic districts, particularly the latter.

5:15 PM PT: Polls are also closed in the eastern half of South Dakota, where Democrats are picking their candidate in SD-AL.

5:26 PM PT (Kaili Joy Gray): New thread here.
