(Not pictured: Mitt Romney's actual bus.)
I'm not sure what the Romney campaign is after here, but it seems to be part of an ongoing effort to convince voters that Mitt Romney is a gigantic asshole:
Romney's campaign bus circled Obama's fundraiser at Boston Symphony Hall Monday night several times, according to Romney deputy press secretary Ryan Williams and verified by several onlookers who said it was honking its horn as it passed. So, you drive around the block in a big bus, honking your big bus horn. And this makes people want to vote for you because, um, people really admire your driving-around-in-circles-while-honking stance? Take that, Boston Symphony Hall! Take that, people going to listen to our opponent!Williams told BuzzFeed that the bus made "a few" laps before local police closed the roads around the venue before Obama's arrival. They plan on bringing the bus back after Obama leaves to attend another fundraiser.
I get that Mitt's campaign isn't exactly issue-focused, but I'm still not clear on how the my campaign bus is an asshole strategy is supposed to work. It is an actual strategy, too, as is evidenced by Romney's own deputy press secretary confirming that it was really something they'd done on purpose. Even setting aside the supposition that maybe being a jerk at your opponent via diesel-powered proxy isn't going to do much to convince the wider public to vote for you, it's also ridiculously easy to counteract it:

Ta-da, bus tantrum neutralized.
Still, I'm beginning to feel that Mitt Romney's campaign bus has more vocal opinions than the man himself does. Maybe reporters should ask that bus for an opinion on recent Supreme Court decisions?
