Results: Calif. | Iowa | Montana | New Jersey | New Mexico | S. Dakota | Wisconsin

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:10 PM PT (James L): Thought: If Democratic PACs had to spend $1 million to push Julia Brownley to 26% of the primary vote in CA-26, I wonder where she sat in the initial polls of this race.

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:13 PM PT (Steve Singiser): AP calls one of the two golden tickets in San Diego's CA-52 for incumbent Republican Brian Bilbray (who sits at a somewhat underwhelming 42 percent). It will be a looooong time before we get the second slot nailed down'Democrats Scott Peters and Lori Saldana remain only about 250 votes apart.

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:21 PM PT (jeffmd): 5th Update on SD-21: Lehman keeps floating around the cusp of where he needs to be, +2.4 now. There are 12 precincts left in the City of Racine for him, while there are 3 precincts left in Mt Pleasant and all of Waterford.

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:27 PM PT (James L): AP calls MT-Gov (R) for ex-Rep. Rick Hill. (He's currently leading a very crowded field with 35% of the vote.)

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:45 PM PT (James L): Finally some major movement in NM-01. We're up to 88% reporting there, and Democrat Michelle Lujan Grisham leads primary rival Eric Griego by 41-36. Still no call by the AP, though.

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:54 PM PT (Steve Singiser): The AP makes two calls that the early numbers seemed to portend: incumbent Democrat Jim Costa has earned his slot in CA-16, and Democrat Juan Vargas has claimed one of the two slots in the open seat battle to replace veteran Democratic Rep. Bob Filner.

Tue Jun 05, 2012 at 10:58 PM PT (Steve Singiser): In one of the few non-California races still on the docket, the AP is not calling MT-AL (D) yet, but there is some daylight there between frontrunner Kim Gillan and the rest of the pack. Gillan has 32 percent of the vote, well ahead of second-place Franke Willmer (18 percent), with 54 percent of the precincts tallied.
