Daily Kos Elections Wisconsin recall & June 5 primary liveblog thread #9

Daily Kos Elections Liveblog Banner Tonight we're liveblogging the Wisconsin recall elections as well as primaries in six states: California, Iowa, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota. Click here for our guide to all the key primaries, and stick with us as we cover all of tonight's interesting races.

Results: Calif. | Iowa | Montana | New Jersey | New Mexico | S. Dakota | Wisconsin

8:03 PM PT (Steve Singiser): In an absolutely predictable call, given the early results, the AP has called IA-02 (D) for David Loebsack. The incumbent is up 81-19 against state senator Joe Seng.

8:06 PM PT (Steve Singiser): Hard as it might be to believe, we are less than halfway through the results tonight, in terms of raw numbers of races. That's because California, with its 53 House races, has just closed its polls.

8:07 PM PT (jeffmd): Three of the four WI Senate Recalls - SDs 13, 23, and 29 have now been called, all for the Republicans.

SD-21 in Racine Co. is the one question mark and will determine control of the state Senate. Lehman (D) is just below where he needs to be in order to win this so far.

8:11 PM PT (jeffmd): New dump of votes in SD-21. Lehman is now about 3.6% above where he was in 2010, which is enough. The town of Caledonia rearranged its reporting wards so the comparison isn't direct, but still excellent news for him.

8:20 PM PT (Steve Singiser): The AP makes it official'Martin Heinrich has won the Democratic primary in NM-Sen.

8:24 PM PT: The liveblog continues here.
