5:54 PM PT: Rachel Maddow just played a bit of the 1976 presidential debate in which audio difficulties caused a 27 minute technical delay. And as she points out, this is live television. And anything could happen. Hell, Mitt Romney might even come off as warm and personable and convince people that his whole 47% thing was really just a bad joke.
