Linda McMahon really, really wants you to vote for Obama. And her

Can anyone in Connecticut possibly fall for this when they come home and find it hanging on their door?

Which is interesting, since there's this:

"I know Chris Murphy. Chris has a real record of job creation here in Connecticut, and a jobs plan that puts the middle class first. And I know Chris Murphy will always stand up to those who would turn back the clock on women's health. I know the stakes are high, and I need Chris Murphy as a partner in the United States Senate. Connecticut, I hope you'll support him."

As Evan McMorris-Santoro at TPM points out, this isn't the first effort McMahon has made to tie herself to Obama, but she goes way, way further with this one, urging voters to vote for President Obama. At the same time, though:

'Linda McMahon enthusiastically supports Governor Romney for president,' McMahon campaign spokesperson Todd Abrajano told TPM. He alleged that Murphy's campaign 'is telling people that it's illegal to split their ticket,' and that was the reason for the McMahon doorhangers. The Murphy campaign called the claim 'ridiculous' and 'desperate.'

Ridiculous and desperate pretty much sums it up. In an election that has showcased the most shameless Republicans imaginable, McMahon gives even Mitt Romney a run for his money.
