Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz prove they're the new face of the GOP ... by proposing to defund Obamacare

Thirsty for change? Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) are supposed to be the new faces of the Republican Party'young, Latino, and a living symbol that the party can change. But when it comes down to it, on matters of substance, they are no different than the same old Republicans. On Wednesday, Cruz said he would try to force a government shutdown unless the Senate passes legislation defunding Obamacare, and on Thursday Rubio went on right-wing radio to endorse Cruz's effort:
Senator Cruz from Texas is offering this amendment to defund Obamacare. If that gets onto the bill, in essence, if they get a continuing resolution and we can get a vote on that and pass that onto the bill, I'll vote for a continuing resolution, even if it's temporary, because it does something permanent, and that's defund this health care bill, this Obamacare bill, that is going to be an absolute disaster for the American economy.
It's long past time for these guys to move on. Barack Obama won in 2008. Obamacare became law in 2010. The Supreme Court upheld it in 2012, and the president was reelected'but these guys just can't let it go. They may be new faces, but they are stuck in the same old past.
