Post-election, Mitt Romney moving to California, maybe. Or not.

We're going to Disneyland! Well, near Disneyland. Sort of. Hmm:

According to the Boston Globe, Mitt and Ann Romney will likely move into their home in La Jolla, the San Diego suburb that is sometimes called "where the money meets the sea."

Mr. Mitt has recently been seen pumping his own gas in the lovely town of La Jolla; evidently he and Ann are at least spending some post-election quality time there. I believe there was also a rumor that he went to see the new Twilight movie, but I'm loath to pin that crime on anyone, even him, without hard evidence.

So will he really move to the very Democratic, environment-loving, organic-foods-having state of California? Who knows. I think anyone who owns multiple houses and who chooses to spend some of their winter in the warmest, sunniest, most ocean-having one is probably just exercising good judgment. Still, you would think that our apparently devastating California taxes would drive out jahb creators by the droves, and yet the presidential candidate with the $100 million retirement fund doesn't seem too concerned about it. He even wants to build a car elevator here, which is good news for America's burgeoning car elevator industry. La Jolla is filled with like-minded anti-tax wealthbots, too, so it's not like Mitt will be blazing a new trail of Republicanism down there on Galt's Beach.

Still, I was hoping he'd choose the Caymans. Either way, it all works out. All part of the master plan to move all climate-change-denying political figures to homes that are as close to sea level as possible.
