Republicans aren't attacking what Obama said, mind you. Earlier this week, Mitt Romney endorsed President Obama's position, giving them nothing of substance to attack. Instead, they are attacking for where he said it. Apparently, only lightweights go on late night television. You know, like when Mitt Romney talked about going on SNL last week. Or earlier in the campaign when he went on David Letterman's show and delivered a top 10 list.
To be fair to Mitt, he didn't talk about anything substantive on Letterman, and whoever wrote "M-I-double-tizzle" gave him a pretty funny line. And rumor has it a few people even laughed when he went on Jay Leno's show. So why their poutrage now? As Mitt Romney once said, isn't sauce for the goose good enough to be sauce for the gander?
