Fox and Friends interviews Santa Claus about 'War on Christmas', possibly because they are insane

Fox News must be concerned that they're still just too darn intellectual and stimulating for their core audience of coma patients and people waiting for airline flights, so this morning's Fox and Friends had yet another segment devoted to the fictional War on Christmas, and here to defend Christmas from people who would say "happy holidays" (no, really, that's still what they're pissed about) is ' Santa Claus.
Appearing under they chyrons 'End The 'War' On Christmas: Pro Santa Won't Say 'Happy Holidays' and 'Ho-Ho-No Way!: Santa Won't Be Politically Correct,' Santa Claus impersonator and author Sal Lizard spoke out against the 'political correctness' of American culture
I could be imagining things, but I think the look in Gretchen Garlson's cold, dead eyes indicates that maybe even she is reconsidering her life choices at this point. No matter; Santa Claus, who is definitely a less fictional character than either Gretchen Carlson or Charles Krauthammer, then proceeded in an extended interview to rail against political correctness, broccoli and let's say sex offender laws (or something, I sort of dozed off on that part).

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that several people impersonating journalists interviewing one person impersonating Santa Claus is not, in fact, even in the top 10 silliest stories Fox News has done this year. There was the time they had Dick Morris impersonate someone who could read poll numbers, which was pretty great, and the several times they interviewed Karl Rove to get his opinions on Fox News stories that had originated with Karl Rove, and, c'mon, Krauthammer, for God's sake.

But keep this in mind, America: Saying "Happy Holidays" to someone is, according to Fox News, anti-Santa. Says it right there in big white print. We can only be thankful they didn't get a Jesus impersonator, but you can bet that one's coming next.
