Oh, no! No holiday photo of Obama and Boehner this year

Barack and Michelle Obama in front of a Christmas tree, 2010. John Boehner didn't want to do this with the president. The horror! This whole fiscal cliff negotiation thing is getting serious, yo. It's all very well when Republicans are offering BS proposals and the Obama administration is shooting down said proposals in no uncertain terms. But now? Now, the tense negotiations are spilling over and disrupting cherished moments of bipartisan Christmas spirit. Jake Tapper has the story:
Boehner came to the White House last night for President Obama's annual holiday party for members of Congress, but the Speaker didn't pose for a photograph with the president as he has in the past and as other members of Congress did last night.
That is just ... I mean, no Christmas photo of two guys who are in constant conflict and probably don't like each other that much? What is Christmas in Washington, DC, if not a time when people attend parties and pretend they really want to work with people whose values conflict with their own?

Is the fiscal cliff the real war on Christmas?
