He probably did not want to draw further attention to the way he also profited from their maleficent actions or how he is advocating for this company to get even bigger tax breaks than they already have.This is all the lobbying that Thompson had to do, he says because his shopping-addicted wife was nagging him about making more money. So he exploited all the contacts he'd made while secretary of HHS under Bush and picked a company that has done irreparable physical harm to thousands of women, profiting both personally and politically.
