Rasmussen is literally worth a whopping 1.6 points in the national polling composite. Indeed, Rasmussen is the only national pollster this week that has Mitt Romney above 45 percent:
Gallup (9/21-27): Romney: 44
Reuters/Ipsos (9/23-27): Romney 42
Fox News (9/24-26): Romney 43
Bloomberg (9/21-24): Romney 43
RAND (9/24): Romney 43
PPP for dkos/SEIU (9/20-23): Romney 45
Ironically, it's PPP that has given Romney his best non-Ras number all week!
Rasmussen is doing its mightiest work to try and keep the fiction of Romney's candidacy alive, which really, is the only reason it exists.
