Paul Ryan blames himself for spread of anti-American protests against anti-Islam YouTube video

Paul Ryan defends Mitt Romney's smirking disaster with a novel explanation for what's really motivating anti-American protests against the YouTube clip mocking Islam.

What I think is happening here, is we are projecting weakness abroad. President Obama has these reckless, devastating defense cuts.

Uh, Paul, dear old chap, you voted for those "reckless, devastating defense cuts." In fact, you didn't just vote for them, as head of the budget committee, you helped write them. And if it wasn't for your leadership of Republican debt limit brinksmanship, they wouldn't be law now.

So in the very slim chance those potential cuts have anything to do with what's going on in the Middle East right now, you're at least as much to blame as President Obama. In fact, probably more so.
