Democratic National Convention Schedule: Wednesday, Sept 6

The Democratic National Convention 2012: We're winning attribution: Daily Kos graphic After Wednesday night's tour de force speech by former President Bill Clinton, you can bet that convention goers and watchers are fired up and ready to go! Here's a brief rundown of what to expect on the final day of the Democratic National Convention.

Bearing in mind that with the change of venue from Panther Stadium to the Time Warner Cable Arena due to weather concerns, today's schedule remains in flux, but here is what we know so far (updates will be added as more information becomes available):

  • The day will kick off with meetings of all the state delegations.
  • Between 10 and 4 ET the Voting Rights Institute, the Women's Caucus, the LGBT Caucus, the Senior Council and the Rural Council will be holding events at the convention center.
  • Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden will both be speaking later tonight.
  • And of course the main event will be during the 10 ET hour, when President Barack Obama will bring the house down with his acceptance speech.

The biggest concern at this time, judging by various news reports, is the sad fact that there will be no'I repeat, no'balloon drop because of the last minute change of venue.
