Sequester, schmequester, Republicans have bigger fish to fry!

Skeleton with long list The draconian sequester cuts are coming and House Republicans had a meeting earlier today to settle on talking points to excuse their culpability in this whole mess: They will be "amused" by President Obama's "theatrics" on sequester and they will "hold their ground [and] stay on offense."

But enough about the real life consequences of sequester: The loss of more than 750,000 jobs, cuts to military readiness, law enforcement, education, border security, food safety'the list goes on and on'because House Republicans have more important things to worry about:

Another topic discussed among a group of members was technology. Republicans are worried about the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's email list, which includes more than 1 million subscribers. They'd like the National Republican Campaign Committee to continue to build its web presence and e-mail lists in the run-up to the 2014 midterm elections.
Priorities, people! Sure, House Republicans are willfully'cheerfully'ready to let Americans across the country get screwed over, but the important thing here is that they're losing the Email List War and the 2014 elections are just around the corner. Why, they're nearly as close as the mortgage payments coming due for some 750,000 people next month ...
