Liberty Counsel guy to gay teens: 'It will not get better'

You have to be pretty darn screwed up to pen an "open letter to gay teens" telling them they should feel bad about themselves, but if there's one thing we've seen, is that "pretty darn screwed up" is the ticket to entry into the modern conservative movement. Liberty Counsel veep Matt Barber has punched his ticket and then some, so he's a perfect candidate to write such a thing, telling teens that "unrepentant homosexual behavior" means y'all have "chosen hell":
God's word also says that when we sin sexually, it's particularly egregious because our bodies are the temple of Christ. This separation from God ' a natural result of sexual sin ' can lead to depression and even despair.

If you feel such despair, know this: it is not 'homophobia' causing it, as adult enablers might tell you, but, rather, it is the sin itself that causes it (or struggling alone, absent Christ, with the temptation to sin).  [']

If you continue down this wide, empty path, make no mistake: it will not 'get better.'

It gets much, much worse.

What any of this has to do with Liberties or Counsels I don't know, I think Barber just needed to get his latest audition for the cranky white guy papacy out of his system.

I thought about going through the whole thing at length'and had a good start on it, even'but really, what's the point? Here's my own letter to teens, gay and otherwise: Hey, kids. See that guy up there? Huge asshole. Huge. Don't be like that guy. The end.
