Republican weather conspiracy theory disproven ... by the weather

Weather Channel screenshot showing rain pouring down in Charlotte Why does it matter that it's raining in Charlotte right now? Because conservatives are so fucking idiotic that they think that the Obama campaign moved their rally tonight indoors because ... well, as stupid as this sounds, it's because Pres. Barack Obama can control the weather and they would've known months in advance that it wasn't going to rain so this is all a plot to cover up the fact that no one wants to see Obama's speech.

I'm not kidding.

Fox News analyst Charles Krauthammer claimed Wednesday that there was no way officials moved President Barack Obama's speech indoors due to concerns about the weather, saying Democrats have known what Thursday's weather will be for "months."

"It wasn't the weather, they knew what the weather was going to be months ago. This was clearly a response to the fear of a sea of empty seats, and that's why this is being done," Krauthammer said.

And they really believe this craziness! Fox News personalities bought it: Hannity claiming chance of rain is zero, speech moved inside b/c Obama couldn't fill stadium.

The head of the Republican Party made an ass out of himself:

Michelle Malkin gleefully retweeted this:

DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION UPDATE: Hardly any rain on the @wsoc_tv radar around Charlotte  http://t.co/...

But then ignored this:

Just saw some soaked-to-the-bone reporters rushing into the convention center here in Charlotte

I wonder if they ever get tired of being so wrong? And in case you're really wondering how wrong they were, they were really, really, really, really, really wrong:
