Reince Priebus: Democrats 'wish they were still in the Clinton years'

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus has been terribly, terribly crabby lately, but this one especially caught my eye:

Democrats still wish they were still in the Clinton years? I think probably most Americans do. Back then we had a balanced budget and New York had a World Trade Center, for starters.

Also two fewer wars. Oh, and no economic recession so catastrophic that people were constantly comparing it to the Great Depression. But hey, I guess your guy pushed through some tax cuts so it all balances out, right?

(Oh, and you might want to avoid linking to articles that preempt your own party's spin, fella. You're not supposed to let on that you've already planned what you're going to be faux-outraged about before the other guy even starts talking.)
