5:08 PM PT: For some reason, in the middle of Robert Wexler's speech praising President Obama's support for Israel, C-SPAN cameras spend several moments lingering on Jesse Jackson, milling on the convention floor.

5:25 PM PT: Maria Ciano, a stay-at-home mom and former Republican, takes the stage to explain why she switched parties. It comes down to five words: The Republican War On Women. And now Nancy Keenan, the head of NARAL takes the stage. Later in the convention Planned Parenthood President Cecille Richards will address the convention.

5:26 PM PT: Isn't it shocking that the notion of family planning is controversial? "We believe that a woman should make health care decisions with her family, her doctor, and her God," Keenan says. "We believe there is no room for politicians'especially those politicians who don't know how women's body's work. We are so proud to have a president who stands with women and trusts women."

5:27 PM PT: It's 2012 in American politics: a convention speaker just had to say "We believe that rape is rape."

5:28 PM PT: Keenan reminds the hall that when President Obama defended Sandra Fluke from Rush Limbaugh's verbal assault, Mitt Romney didn't. "Women in American cannot trust Mitt Romney," she says.

5:29 PM PT: Romney may want to take away the right to choice, she concludes, "but there is one decision that he cannot taken: and that's the one women will make November 6."
