Paul Ryan has taken the stage, assuring his Mr. Bain that he did a wonderful job with his speech. Now balloons are falling from the rafters. The big question: Will Clint Eastwood take the stage?
8:20 PM PT: I think Romney's speech was awful. I'm not just saying that. I thought he went on way, way too long about his personal history, and did it in a way that nobody really will care about. He basically dodged any serious discussion of how to grow the economy, but yet managed to rattle an alarming number of sabers. And his mocking of climate change was inexcusable. Of course, who cares, because: Clint Eastwood, man.
