With numbers like this, can Romney retroactively un-nominate himself?

U.S. President Barack Obama talks at a campaign event at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio, August 1, 2012. REUTERS/Larry Downing   Winning. NBC/WSJ has new numbers, and they are pretty freakin' awesome.

FLORIDA
Obama 49
Romney 44

OHIO
Obama 50
Romney 43

VIRGINIA
Obama 49
Romney 44

As if the battleground numbers weren't looking bad enough for Mitt Romney already, these results are nothing short of disastrous.

In the relevant Senate races:

FLORIDA
Bill Nelson (D) 51
Connie Mack (R) 37

OHIO
Sherrod Brown (D) 49
Josh Mandel (R) 42

VIRGINIA
Tim Kaine (D) 46
George Allen (R) 46

Good news, good news and expected news. Who are these Obama-Allen voters in Virginia, I wonder? I'll dig more into this and other recent polling later tomorrow, but for now, I figured we could all use a little happy dance right now.

And note that since this poll was conducted between Sept. 9-11, the calls pre-dated Romney's smirking debacle. So how much do you want to bet that Republicans wish they would've nominated Rick Sant'uh, Newt Gingr'uh, Herman C'gah, Rick Per'the hell with it. There's a reason their bigwigs sat this one out.

The biggest moron in this race award goes to Paul Ryan, for committing career suicide by shacking up with their disaster of a nominee.
