"My guess is we'll get a great rendition of how good things were in the 1990s, but we're not going to hear much about how things have been in the last four years," Ryan, speaking before a crowd of several hundred in this small town west of Des Moines, said of Clinton's upcoming speech. "And by the way, under President Clinton, we got welfare reform ' which moved people from welfare to work, to get people out of poverty. President Obama is rolling back welfare reform."He just can't help himself. It's getting to the point where you have to wonder if Ryan can actually distinguish the truth anymore. What is glaringly obvious is that he and Romney have absolutely no shame. They've been called out for the lie, repeatedly. They've been called out for playing the race card, repeatedly. Hell, the campaign itself has all but admitted that the charge is a lie, and in the same breath said they weren't going to give it up because they think it's working.
It couldn't be clearer that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will say or do anything to win. What's really scary is thinking about what they'd be capable of doing if they did win.
